​Bio.

I was born in Geneva, New York, a small city at the north end of Seneca Lake, largest of the Finger Lakes in the western region of New York.  Geneva is home to the historic Smith Opera House, listed on the National Register of Historic Places, and in The Smithsonian; and to Hobart and William Smith Colleges.

After graduating from Geneva High School, I attended design school in Arlington, Texas.  The beauty of the Finger Lakes, and a longing for friends and family drew me back home eventually though, where I married a local guy and had two wonderful daughters.  Years later when I figured out what I wanted to be when I grew up, I earned my B.A. in Communications from St. John Fisher College in Rochester, New York.
